As Senior Finance executive you will lead Financial workstreams and analytics driven by Business Development activity, including M&A, divestitures, and additional portfolio optimization.

This role will report to VP, Finance – FP&A with high visibility and engagement with the CEO, COO, CSCO, CFO, SVP Corporate Controller, SVP Treasurer, SVP Strategy, and SVP Business Development and their teams

In addition, this role also Indirectly leads finance sub-function and cross functional teams of 20-25 FTEs through separations and divestitures. High visibility with ELT, owning and communicating financial impact of transformational initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  • Partners closely with SVP Corporate Strategy, SVP Business Development, Chief Transformation Officer, and their teams on separations and acquisitions
  • Serve as the finance function lead responsible for all activity within the Divestiture Management Office (DMO) including global, sub-function coordination (e.g., tax, treasury, accounting, etc) through reverse due diligence, separation planning and execution
  • Build and maintain standardized processes to facilitate financial operations and consolidated, cross functional reporting across all M&A projects, including one-time costs, stranded cost identification and mitigation planning, and harmony target development / tracking
  • Design overarching finance project plans to support sub-functional execution of multiple projects in parallel
  • Lead stranded cost mitigation and value capture synergy activities across the enterprise, coordinating with ELT, Transformation Office to identify drivers of stranded and duplicative costs, develop cost reduction targets, and steer initiatives to mitigate
  • Works closely with senior executives from third parties including consultants and banks on financial modeling, transformation initiatives and program management, and finance organizational design

  • Strong financial and business acumen; familiar with financial systems and various aspects of financial reporting

  • Ability to distill insights from complex analyses and build concise and compelling presentations to senior leadership audience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or country equivalent). MBA and/or CPA
  • Healthcare, pharma and/or medical device industry experience preferred
  • 10+ years of working experience with at least 3 -5 years within FP&A in a large multinational organization
  • Experience leading financial integrations or separations
