What you'll do

As a Production Manager, you'll help to ensure levels of Risk and Compliance meet the needs of Commercial Banking (CB) CDIOs.

Along with managing relationships with platform, domain and relevant cross-domain stakeholders, you'll consistently be looking for potential improvements of existing processes and procedures across Risk and Compliance disciplines. As such, you'll establish an environment of continual learning and feedback.

You'll also be:

  • Working with leads, managements and others to define and execute the domain's future state vision
  • Identifying and capturing risks and issues relevant to the production environment, engaging and coordinating with other leads to identify potential solutions and enable resolution
  • Ensuring resilient and robust applications and infrastructure recovery plans to meet the business recovery requirements
  • Supporting the delivery and assurance of a robust CB CDIO control environment action plan, and fit for purpose KPIs that align to business risk appetite as well as the CB CDIO risk appetite
  • Providing insights and horizon risk items for all the risk and control activities undertaken by the team and reporting of these to senior management and domain leads
  • Building and implementing a risk culture plan across Commercial CDIO


The skills you'll need

Your technical knowledge and understanding will cover platforms, technology, products and domains, and you'll have knowledge of relevant industry standard toolsets and processes to drive up customer service within an IT environment.

You'll also demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and management level colleagues
  • SME Risk management knowledge covering ORF and EWRMF, the RCA end to end process and an understanding of the controls adequacy and effectiveness testing
  • Knowledge and experience of using one or more service management disciplines
  • Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • A solid background working in an Agile or DevOps environment with continuous delivery and continuous integration
  • Strong demonstrable people management experience
