Your new role
The Manager Treasury Operations is tasked with leading the day-to-day management of the Treasury Operations function, ensuring the team effectively and efficiently meet Treasury Operations service deliverables. Within this role you will also support the evolving Treasury Operations function by assisting with the build out of new capability and the Fund's broadening global investment management agenda. The main components of this role is to lead the management and monitoring of the Funds cash, securities lending and collateral and margining commitments. You will assist in the successful delivery of the complete suite of Investment Operations Services into the Investment teams.

Your new role
The Manager Treasury Operations is tasked with leading the day-to-day management of the Treasury Operations function, ensuring the team effectively and efficiently meet Treasury Operations service deliverables. Within this role you will also support the evolving Treasury Operations function by assisting with the build out of new capability and the Fund's broadening global investment management agenda. The main components of this role is to lead the management and monitoring of the Funds cash, securities lending and collateral and margining commitments. You will assist in the successful delivery of the complete suite of Investment Operations Services into the Investment teams.
Some key duties include but not limited to;
- Management of the Fund's cash flows and associated Treasury Operations processes to deliver efficient and timely outcomes and support the liquidity requirements and objectives for the Fund
- Management of OTC and futures collateral & margining to ensure the Fund's margin obligations are satisfied in a timely and efficient manner and equitably allocated into the Fund's portfolios.
- Management of securities lending oversight program to ensure the efficient, effective, compliant, and segregated operational support is provided to the Balance Sheet Management team.
- Initiate & drive efficiency initiatives within the Treasury Operations team and broader Investment business.
- Contribute to the implementation of new treasury systems that will lead to efficiencies in managing Treasury Operations.
- Develop strong collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, internal teams and external service providers.
What you'll need
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance or Treasury disciplines.
- Minimum 9 years relevant experience in Treasury, securities lending, liquidity, and collateral management, including managing a small team, within a banking or financial institution environment.
- Significant experience in treasury reporting and analysis including compliance/governance frameworks.
- Solid understanding of custodian, fund accounting; unit pricing; trade operations & middle office processes.
- A pro-active and positive attitude and proven record in leading; managing and developing a small team.
- An approachable manner and an enthusiasm to both learn and coach.
