Job Description
Overall job purpose
- Providing a high standard of administrative support to the audit team (from Assistant Managers to students) and administrative assistance to the audit secretarial team.
- To manage the integral audit bank confirmation system, maintaining an accurate database; initiating and managing requests and dealing with follow-up queries in an efficient, proactive and timely manner.

Responsibilities
Support to audit and secretarial team
- Provide administrative assistance to the audit team from assistant managers to students.
- Supporting the audit secretarial team – including event admin/support.
- Manage and maintain the audit bank confirmation database, initiating bank confirmation requests and managing follow-up queries with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the travel and accommodation bookings.
- Facilitate the organisation of third-party file reviews.
Business Development Duties
- To assist with the preparation and maintenance of the opportunities pipeline.
Ad Hoc Tasks
General administration as required including, but not limited to:
- Providing occasional remote switchboard/admin cover for smaller offices during holiday periods
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements
Essential
- Experience in managing database records and liaising with relevant stakeholders
- Detail orientated with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communications skills and strong team working ability
- Demonstrate strong technical skills in using MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, manage and meet the deadlines and maintain a high quality of work
- Ability to remain discreet working with confidential matters
- Possess flexibility and adaptability to manage changing work requirements and varying volumes of work

- Be able to maintain self-motivation when working on their own, as well as working as part of a team;
- Enjoy process-driven data management and problem solving; and
- Be able to work to deadlines/under pressure.

Location: Hybrid – a mixture of office based (either London/Chelmsford depending on candidate's location and preference) and remote working.
Hours: 9am to 5pm role (hours are subject to flexibility for the right candidate including part time options)
