Overview Of The Role

Support Financial Controlling function of Financial Services, Rental & Leasing entities

What You Will Do

• Manage financial and management accounting for F&I, Lending and Leasing business as per IAS, IFRS and as per AF Group defined guidelines
• GL, Profit Center and Cost Center Management – maintenance of effective & defined GL, PC & CC in SAP
• Reconciliation of Vendors, Accruals, Banks, SALIK, Traffic Fines, Fixed Assets, etc. on timely basis
• Payroll accounting including staff EOSB settlements
• Leasing & Lending system - to understand full end to end system and process,
• Regular monitor of Accipiens transactions and postings
• Monitor Accipiens and SAP reconciliations
• Preparation of Monthly Financials pack for all entities
• Preparation of mid-month forecasts during the month as required
• Submission of BI/BPC/Forecast/Flash/ Actuals in Auto IFRP systems
• Monthly, Quarterly, and Ad-hoc reporting Central Bank of UAE
• Support the internal, external and regulatory audit and Ensure timely preparation of audit data as per requirement and all feedbacks are implemented after
• VAT reconciliation and documentation of tax register is done on quarterly basis in line with VAT return period by 10th of the following month in which VAT return filing with FTA is due.
• VAT return is prepared as per VAT laws & as per group tax guidance.
• Strong Governance and control around VAT return filing and payment
• Maintenance of VAT Return file as per group mandate
• Realtime maintenance of VAT audit checklist
• Initiate VAT return filing & due payments.
• Ensure FTA query related to VAT refund is timely responded with all relevant details
• Ensure VAT refund is received from FTA and accounted for in books.
• Preparation and maintenance of VAT audit pack as per group mandate
• Annual review of accounting policies, i.e. FA/GL/AR/AP/VAT
• ICM transactions are reviewed every month, initiate closure of old pending transactions issues, escalate open ICM transactions for its timely closure.

About The Team

As a Finance Manager you will be reporting to Senior Financial Controller and handle a team of 2.

Required Skills To Be Successful

Analytical, Process oriented, good communication skills, exposure to SAP ERP. The job holder should have strong documentation ability.

What Equips You For The Role

• 5+ years’ experience in Finance role
• CA or CPA or equivalent

Automotive knowledge, financial services, rental and leasing industry
