At the end of the apprenticeship a successful Financial Administrator would be expected to move into a more senior role, subject to performance.
The Financial Administrator is responsible for handling the day to day queries and finance-related administration for a portfolio of clients. It is a client facing role and strong communication skills are required. They will be supported by a Management Accountant and Client Manager, and will be part of a small team responsible for delivering a high quality service to their clients.

The key responsibilities of a Financial Administrator are:
- Maintaining clients’ financial records through regular bookkeeping and bank reconciliation using the accounting system, Xero.
- Supporting the Management Accountant with the collation of accounting records for month-end and year-end reporting.
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns and monthly payroll for clients.
- Supporting the supplier payment runs for clients.
- Providing day to day support to clients on finance matters by telephone and email.
