This is a unique apprenticeship, to accelerate your Compliance career as part of a lean, dynamic and supportive team, offering the opportunity to perform day-to-day compliance processes and operational business support, whilst learning and progressing as you complete your apprenticeships. Compliance and Administration Support

  • Managing the set-up of annual and periodic in-house compliance training courses in conjunction with the external course provider and liaising with the Compliance Manager. Co-ordinating the collation of attendance registers and participant test results after each course and follow-up as required.
  • Log invoices, working with the Compliance Manager to approve and process for payment.
  • Work across teams to collate the monthly declarations as part of the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
  • Managing the issuing and collation of annual staff compliance declarations, liaising with the Compliance Manager as required.
  • Providing documents in a timely manner, formatted to company brand guidelines.
  • Providing support to ensure in-person and hybrid meetings run effectively.
  • Managing incoming enquiries via telephone and email by responding and/or routing to appropriate colleagues.
  • Support the wider Core Group with other administration tasks as required.


Operations and Premises

  • Supporting the delivery of operational requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Supporting workplace requirements and service provision across our Core, Investment and Engagement Groups to assess workplace requirements - you will need to support the delivery of organisational change and be insightful to needs whilst understanding and upholding business objectives.
  • Supporting initiatives for future office development, workplace design and layout solutions in line with the organisation’s vision, strategy and direction.
  • Ensuring the office environment is kept tidy and presentable.
  • Providing effective day to day operational management of the BSC Offices and managing any changes to the office environment, ensuring minimum disruption to core activities.
  • Co-ordinating the activities of a range of external suppliers.
  • Coordinating visitor administration, liaising with building reception and welcoming guests.
  • Supporting staff onboarding, managing security passes and providing office familiarisation.
  • Liaising with the manager of the building occupied by BSC and with the external maintenance contractor.
  • Managing ordering and storage of kitchen and office consumables.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing office post and couriers.


Other Administration

  • Supporting the team’s recruitment and induction process for new joiners and coordinate onboarding meetings.
  • Working closely with the wider team of support officers and administrators across BSC, sharing best practice and providing support and cover when needed.
