A reputable Multi Academy Trust in North Manchester are looking to appoint a Finance and Operations Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong financial and technical experience to support the Regional Finance Director for their Hub.

This Academy based in North Manchester is performing well and is looking for a Finance Manager and Operations to continue to drive this academy forward, ensuring its sustainability and long term growth.
Description
The responsibilities of the Finance and Operations Manager will be to support the Principal and work closely with the Academy. The duties will be:
- Overseeing the transactional functions, managing a small team of 2
- Preparing relevant statutory compliance documentation
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Day to day management of the Academy's finance systems
- Working in collaboration with budget holders, including production of accurate and timely budgets and management accounts for the Academy. Providing accurate and timely financial information and reporting for the Academy,
- Attend Board meetings and daily engagement with the SLT
- Support the Regional Director of Finance in strategy and long term planning
Profile
The successful candidate for the Finance and Operations Manager will be:
- CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA qualified ( or equivalent)
- Proven track record within in a similar sized environment
- Ability to manage a team
- Demonstrable experience in Business Partnering
- The desire to continue to drive processes and make improvements
- Strong Financial Controls
- The want to make a difference and work in collaboration to drive change and have a positive impact
- Undertake and action the values of the Academy- Respect, Commitment and Trust.
