Assistant Finance Manager (Property)

You'll be the Assistant Finance Manager overseeing a few direct reports and will be involved and reporting to the Head directly.

Description

• Closing and preparation of monthly management accounts for business and dormant/semi-dormant companies
• Checking of payment vouchers, journal vouchers, staff claims, creditor's invoices and all GL transactions keyed in
• Preparation of quarterly tax computation and tax estimates for active/dormant/semi-dormant companies
• Assisting in preparation of management reporting
• Monitoring of Group's and Company's funding requirement and movement of funds
• Liaison with bankers on banking facilities and other banking matters
• Liaison with auditors and drafting of audited financial statements of the Group and subsidiaries
• Assist in supervising the daily operation of the Group Finance Department

Profile

• Minimum Degree in Accounting and Finance
• Professional Qualification (ACCA) will be added advantage
• 3-4 years' related working experience preferably with audit background
• well-versed of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards and Income Tax Regulations
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal, analytical and report writing skills
• Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Words, Powerpoint) and familiar with computerised accounting system
