Specifically, you will be required to: 

  • Perform accounting responsibilities (accounting entries, reconciliations, analysis of pending settlement and clearing amounts, reasonability checks and controls) for general expenses, income, securities, financial instruments, etc in line with the activities of the entities managed;
  • Contribute to the closing of the trial balance and the monthly accounts, reconciliations and specific controls, by accessing multiple tools specific to SG eco-system or customised for our Clients’ specific environments;
  • Prepare  the monthly inter-company reconciliations, with the recording, receipt and payment of all intercompany and intra-group balances;
  • Monitoring for improvement the data quality and ensure accounting entries and adjustments are done as part of the daily accounting process or during the reporting period;
  • Prepare the monthly and/or quarterly reporting packages (balance sheet, profit and loss, off balance sheet and annexes), in line with IFRS;
  • Prepare regular group consolidated reporting, prepare the audit trails for the work performed up to the controls;
  • Perform analysis for own area of responsibility, support the accounting team and manager for the continuous improvement initiatives or projects.

Profile Required:

  • Accounting and analytical abilities;
  • Capacity to synthesise and clear communication;
  • IFRS reporting knowledge;
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in Financial Reporting;
  • Academy of Economic Studies graduate, preferably Finance/Accounting;
  • Capacity to synthesise own analysis to facilitate conclusions or support the decisions requested;
  • Good conversational level in English;
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI or VBA would be a plus;
  • Advanced level of Excel knowledge;
  • ACCA and CECCAR certifications would be a plus.
