My client is one of the world's leaders in the construction industry. With presence across various countries, they are continuing to expand to anchor themselves as a leader in their sector and are now looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to join their finance team.

about the job

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for financial and statutory reporting and ensuring timely month end closing activities. You will keep abreast with the latest accounting standards and provide advice to the team on the necessary treatment and adjustments. You will liaise with auditors and tax agents ensuring compliance to corporate and statutory requirements for the business. You will also help to drive operational excellence and governance.

skills and experience required

You should ideally be accounting or finance degree qualified with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Auditors who have portfolios covering construction, civil engineering and property development clients are welcomed. You are dynamic, willing to learn and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. You need to be proficient in Microsoft applications, SAP knowledge is a plus. You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and are comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders.
