This Management Accountant role will be working for a growing FMCG business in Slough.
Description
This temporary Management Accountant position, will involve the following responsibilities:
- Production and analysis of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial reporting including general ledger master data, statutory reporting, management accounts, management, IFRS reporting, Jsox, ensuring necessary reporting in SAP and Navision.
- Responsible for the production and filing of year end accounts and Corporation Tax returns.
- Responsible to HMRC compliance
- Responsible for Budgeting & forecasting.
- Constantly reviewing the budget process and making adjustments to increase quality and efficiency, and maintain local and global formats
- Preparation of strategic analyses and reports
- Mangement of receivables cash collection / customer admin / customer master data / customer reporting
- Inventory Management includes management of fixed assets
- Responsible for co-ordination of Internal and external audit
- Further development and continuous improvement of Finance systems and processes
- Respond to any queries on all aspects of controlling
- Analysis and provision of metrics for the Leadership Team
- Ad hoc Project work.
Profile
The ideal Management Accountant will have the following:
- At least five years in a FP&A or Management Accounting in a sales and marketing company
- Has used an ERP system to co-ordinate and perform technical and logistics processes
- Production and analysis of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial reporting
- Proven experience in Analytical skill
- Responsible for Budgeting & forecasting
- Administration of receivables, fixed assets and Inventory Management
- Sound knowledge in a controlling system (eg ERP, SAP, Navision)
- Knowledge of IFRS, and J-SOX
- Good knowledge of management accounting tools (budgeting and business planning, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis)
- Knowledge of relevant accounting and tax regulations
- Advance Excel
