Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.

GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

About the Role:

In this role, the Payments Technology Governance Business Analyst and Reporting Specialist will be responsible for investment planning reporting, data analysis, process improvement, and building relationships and communicating with internal teams. This role will work closely with the Payments Technology Finance and Business Management team to assist with budgeting, key performance indicator (KPI) measurement, and strategy to drive greater performance and visibility across the organization.

  • Day to day management of reporting requirements for product delivery management and investment governance for the organization
  • Creation of data extraction processes for dashboard reporting
  • Development and utilization of technical expertise in tools (e.g. Alteryx and Tableau) to obtain and analyze information effectively and efficiently
  • Preparation of product group-specific reporting to leverage for the entire organization
  • Define, implement, and continually optimizing expectations, standards, templates, and processes for the team
  • Demonstrate familiarity and competence with departmental and team procedures and applicable systems
  • Recommend adjustments and improvements to departmental and team procedures and applicable system enhancements
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal team members, as well as with other teams within the firm
  • Adapt to and execute changes to product governance processes and requirements
  • Prioritize tasks and assignments to meet deadlines, and escalate concerns to direct manager

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex, large data sets and present conclusions concisely in writing and verbally
  • Attention to detail with logical thought process
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced-level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPro)
  • Meaningful experience with Tableau, Alteryx and/or other business analytical tools
  • Ability to learn quickly and possesses intellectual curiosity and a hunger to grow and be challenged
  • Grace under pressure and ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Team player with the ability to work productively within a group
  • Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent experience preferred
