Finance Analyst

The client is one of the largest fitness operations in Europe headquartered in West End London. The company operate in the leisure and sport sector since 2008 and aims to provide high quality, low cost, flexible fitness facilities to its members.

Description

Finance Analyst - Duties:

• Support the current Franchisee with building out their reporting and analysis suite
• Liaise with the internal Finance team to make sure we are receiving payments on time
• Help in the rebuilding of short and long term forecast and annual budget
• Assist in updating the Finance, Reporting & Performance Management Manual and the onboarding of any new partners
• Running daily reporting membership, operational, and financial KPI's
• Developing information systems to expand current reporting suite
• Ensure the Board Report is completed in a timely and accurate manor
Provide insight through commercial analysis, giving recommendations back on revenue improvements and cost efficiencies
• Key involvement with the quarterly forecast and annual budget process
• Develop strong relationship with Configuration team
• Help support the set up of franchising within the US

Profile

Finance Analyst - Will possess:

• Part Qualified Accountant
• Can effectively build strong working relationships and networks to enable success
• Has strong communication, time management and organisational skills
• Able to self-motivate and work to strict deadlines
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Able to work cross-functionally, to bring together all parts of the business to deliver the right outcome for members.
• Effective prioritisation skills, and able to demonstrate flexibility in working practices
• Demonstrates a drive for success, and hunger to infl uence business performance
• Able to demonstrate commercial thinking
• Ideally has a passion for, or an interest in, fitness and leisure
• Ideally experience of working with multi-dimensional databases
• Ideally experience in multi-site leisure/retail industry
