We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the Senior Team Manager by providing strategic advice and data insights to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) team. The role will also partner with FBP peers to ensure Bank wide IT costs are understood, and support other Organisation and Cost projects and initiatives. You will become the primary point of contact within the team for month end, forecast and budget in relation to CIO.

You'll be responsible for supporting the wider Technology & Operations (T&O) Finance team to set up new financial and operational processes to help enable the new Technology & Operations Division to deliver their strategic objectives.

The difference you'll make.

  • Managing key stakeholders and their understanding of the banks cost position, build effective stakeholder relationships.

  • Presenting challenges and review to all items affecting the cost position of the bank.

  • Delivering analysis and insight into financial reporting and results, driving stakeholder understanding of how to measure the success of key projects and initiatives.

  • Managing the monthly billing of IT Resource costs across the Bank, including actual v budget variances of individual business performance/P&Ls and understand key cost drivers of activity.

  • Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered.

  • Ensuring a detailed tracking and monitoring regime is in place to allow effective management oversight of the challenge and linkage to the P&L.

What you'll bring.

  • Experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships with Executives and Senior Managers, within and outside Finance through personal credibility and delivery of results.

  • CIMA \ ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or significant experience in working in a finance/cost function.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Excellent influencing, stakeholder management and prioritisation skills

  • Ability to undertake complex analytical/modelling techniques; deal with complex issues and able to undertake special be-spoke analysis when requested.

  • Self- motivated individual with the ability to work independently.

  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service, all the time

What else you need to know.

This is a full-time 12 month fixed term contract offering flexible working between home and the office
