The client is a privately owned Real Estate and Property company operating in West End London. The company owns, manages and develops commercial and residential properties in some of the most affluent areas throughout London.

Assistant Accountant - duties:

• Run the AR and AP function including purchases system experience and cost control.
Bank payment runsBank recs / accruals / prepayments / deferrals / intercompany Contribute to the annual onsite audit Quarterly VAT reportingMonthly management pack reporting including graphical and KPI analysis (GP, margins etc.) Cashflow analysisBudgeting and forecasting Stock control Rounded understanding of how payroll works

Profile

Assistant Accountant - will possess:

• An in depth understanding of day-to-day accounting, control, and reporting, they will need to be a self-starter as they will be required to implement and grow the role.
• All-round accounting understanding from the accounts payable and receivable ledgers to preparing the monthly management report for presentation to the Directors.
• Team player in terms of non-finance relationships
• Excellent Attention to detail
• Ability to work by themselves and forward think
