I'm working with my client in recruiting an Assistant Financial Controller to join their Accountancy team in Crawley
Description
- Preparing and publishing internal financial documents that provide clear information and support decision making
- Supporting month end process
- Provide monthly analysis and insight for reporting
- Ability to challenge discrepancies, investigate underlying issues and propose alternatives
- Build strong and robust relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business
- Providing a backup to the Financial Controller to support bank payments, payroll (weekly and monthly)
Profile
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Maybe working towards an Accountancy Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Initiative to identify process changes as required and ability to ensure change is implemented
- Attitude of striving for continuous improvement throughout the Finance Team
