Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

• Minimum 3 years of strong proven financial and accounting background in management and financial accounting gained in a multinational company;
• Thorough knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation as well as professional experience with IFRS / IAS;
• Knowledge of SAP FI module and/or experience in implementing accounting systems will be considered as strong advantages;
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and fiscal principles, laws and best practices;
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and a financial management software (SAP or similar), knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting;
• Experience in the use of Business Intelligence tools (such as Cognos, Power BI, Tableau) would be an advantage;
• University degree in Accounting or related;
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team;
• Fluent command of English and excellent skills in Excel, Word and Power Point;

Your future role

• Be a Financial controller for Audit in Deloitte CES regarding financial controlling responsibilities and topics
• Operational preparation of monthly and annual P&L and BS within tight deadlines;
• Ensure correct and timely bookings in compliance with Global Accounting Routines and the Global Accounts Plan;
• Be responsible for checking inter-company transactions and reconciliations;
• Prepare annual financial plan and monthly forecasts;
• Control over regular client billing and cash collection;
• Operational preparation of different adhoc reports and presentations related to financial results;
• Being responsible for annual audit of FS;
• Assist/Support business units in administration of their client engagements;
• Actively participate in local and regional finance and corporate initiatives that support the strategies;
• Escalation of all issues in a timely manner and prepare recommendations as to the actions to resolve these issues;
• Management of the financial affairs of the practice including the day to day operations of the accounting department, supervision and development of staff;
• Operational preparation of the annual financial plan, monthly performance reporting and variance analysis and forecasting during the fiscal year;
• Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems especially with regard to cash flow and receivables management;
• Communicate with accounting personnel in other Deloitte practices and the Deloitte CE Shared Service Centre in Poland;
• Dealing with professional advisors and managing the annual audit process;
• Ensure adherence to Deloitte policies and requirements;
• Awareness of, and involvement in the firm’s adherence to all financial and fiscal laws;
• Openness to changes in processes and innovations to improve efficiencies and increase cost competitiveness of the firm
