A significant element of your role as a Cloud Solutions Architect will be working with clients, transitioning to the cloud as well as supporting them get the most out of their cloud based system with cloud based add ons. By understanding the current systems and problems client have, this will enable you to design and implement enhanced, more efficient cloud based systems. You will manage each project from start to finish, being the key contact for the client ensuring they are fully trained in their new solution.

An equally important element of the role will be internally focused, playing a key part in the managing of internal projects for the testing of software for national roll. The Yorkshire real time accounting, real time insights and ABAS teams will be your internal clients and you will have a key role in supporting, training and developing their cloud based software knowledge and efficient internal processes.

In terms of qualifications, we want to ensure we are offering the best service to our customers and the same goes for our people. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you can be either QBE, AAT qualified, working towards your ACCA or qualified. Post qualification, your journey will continue via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development such as more effective client management and also steps towards staff management. Mentorship and coaching will continue to support you as your journey continues beyond formal qualifications.
