The Global FX & OTC Operations and Cash Management is within Global Operations and collaborates daily with Front Office, various internal Credit Suisse departments, and external banks and corporate institutions from all over the world. An outstanding opportunity to join us in the Poland team as we are seeking Cash Settlement Team leader to supervise and provide assurance on the timeliness, completeness & accuracy of CS cash settlements and reconciliation. You would be managing a settlements team (5-10 persons) for Derivative products (OTC, Prime Swap/Equity, Note Issuance, Fund Linked Products, and others). Your daily tasks would include Stakeholder management (feedback/calls/reviews), monitoring of Key Performance & Risk Indicators as well as evaluating workload to guarantee the daily process / performance also during high volume seasons.

The scope of role also includes managing process improvements to provide effective controls and efficiency and following escalation procedures and executing control oversight.

Cash settlement teams are responsible for execution of cash payments related to various products such as OTC (Over the Counter) Fixed Income Derivatives (Interest Rate and Credit Default Swaps), Equity Swaps, Prime Trades, Foreign Exchange transactions, Structured Notes, Fund Linked Products and some Commodity deals. Global Cash Products as a part of the Global Operations team collaborates on a daily basis with Global Cash Management, Front Office, Trade Management and many other important internal Credit Suisse departments as well as with back office teams from other banks and corporate institutions from all over the world. Your skills and experience

We are looking for:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in managing a team / supervising people.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in financial services or shared services firm.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly with Excel. VBA knowledge would be desirable.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical skills combined with outstanding people leadership skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Strong focus on controls and process improvement.
  • Results oriented, hardworking individual with high attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of financial products and financial markets is an asset.
  • University Graduate.
