The opportunity

We are currently seeking highly motivated people to join our Finance Consulting practice EY Greece Consulting Services, which is a leading provider of consulting services in Greece. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to get involved in projects across various industries, with the primary focus being on advising the client CFO and Finance team to help improve business performance and deliver better insights to their stakeholders. The type of projects we cover are:

  • Controlling excellence, including cost accounting/control and financial closing, consolidation
  • Financial Planning and Analytics (F&PA) and budgeting
  • Finance processes analysis, assessment, design and implementation
  • Identification of opportunities for Finance technology enablement in automation of Finance processes
  • Performance Management, including reporting and analysis, key performance indicators / dashboards
  • Finance/Business transformations to drive best practice & cost efficiency

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 2 - 4 years of relevant working experience in Consulting, ideally in Finance Division, or relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent academic record, including a postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Operational research, or other related areas
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient user of MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in Greek and English)

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Skills in Finance systems (e.g., ERP, EPM) and/or any BI tool, as well as analytics capabilities
  • Finance related professional qualification completed or in progress (e.g., CFA, ACCA)
  • Strong written, verbal communications skills and presentation skills in English. (Fluent English is a pre-requisite. Knowledge of additional languages will be appreciated).
  • Demonstration of integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.
