Accounts Receivable Cash on Account Analyst - Senior Associate (level 2)

The Accounts Receivable Senior Associate is a member of a high performing and mixed rank team led by the UKI Country Accounting Manager.

This role sits within the UKI Controlling team which helps the business create success by managing risk, mitigating fraud, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Firm policy, driving quality, consistency and efficiency across the accounting processes.

The opportunity

We are looking for an analytical accounts receivable professional to assist our accounting department as it receives, processes, and collects payment on outstanding invoices. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving payments that have been allocated as Cash on Account and or Unidentified payments. You will need to review client account information, correct discrepancies, and ensure that all payments are accurately allocated to the correct invoices.

Key responsibilities

  • Researching and resolving payments that have been allocated as Cash on Account and or Unidentified.
  • Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
  • Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
  • Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments,
  • Generating reports and statements for internal use.
  • Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
  • Work as a point of contact for thereceivable cashallocation.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties for escalation and problem resolution
  • Support with problem solving and fact-finding analysis
  • Support financial close activities, as needed
  • Looking at system and process improvement
  • Providing ad-hoc reporting
  • Work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, peak work period's, orto balance the workload

  • Confident, with a proven ability to challenge at all levels
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, oral and virtual communication skills with the confidence to deliver presentations, training material and knowledge sharing. Adapting ability to deliver challenging messages and drive communication to a mutual understanding.


To qualify for the role, you must have:
  • Minimum two years' Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
