Amazon's Global Sourcing team is looking for customer-obsessed interns to lead Sustainability initiatives in Amazon Private Brand. The duration of the internship will be 24 weeks start from Jan 2023. The intern will work in the Amazon Global Sourcing office in Nanshan, Shenzhen.

The successful candidate will enjoy diving deep into data, identifying insights and developing analysis on a sub-category level or developing data tools for process efficiency improvement. The ideal candidate will thrive in a highly collaborative, analytical, creative, and fast-paced International environment. The ideal candidate must be self-driven and have the analytical horsepower to break down complex problems, and a strong will to get things done and deliver results. Finally, the candidate must also be a strong communicator, with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively.

  • Ecommerce Packaging Industrial Analysis on Sustainability, Quality, Cost
  • Bill of Material (BOM) analysis
  • Carbon footprint, Recyclability, Recycled Content, Plastic Reduction Analysis
  • Packaging Cost Saving Initiative Analysis


Key job responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDE:

  • Industrial analysis on E-commerce Sustainability contribution, focus on Packaging.
  • Carbon footprint methodology research
  • Recycled material component analysis and build new guideline
  • Packaging Cost & Cost Saving Initiative (Free Cash Flow) Analysis
  • BOM (Bill of material) analysis
  • Other good E-commerce Sustainability innovation


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion on sustainability
  • Master Graduate between Jun 2023 to Aug 2024, Major in Data Science, Business Analyst, Marketing, Economics, Business Management, Sustainability or Information Management (or similar field)
  • High attention to detail, comfortable with "hands-on" management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong Study/Research/ Data collection ability
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin both in Speaking and Writing
  • Work 4 to 5 days per week for 6 months
