Job Description
Network Management is a global function within Digital & Platform Services (DPS) of the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) responsible for managing J.P. Morgan's network of Agent Banks and Financial Market Infrastructures (FMI) to meet J.P. Morgan's requirements for cash and securities services for principal and client activities in over 100 markets. The network of providers includes banks, sub-custodians, payment systems, central counterparties, securities depositories and cheque clearing systems.
Agent expense reduction forms a key part of Network Management's strategy. Network Pricing team is accountable for the analysis and record keeping of securities and cash agent bank cost saves

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Detailed analysis of agent banks and FMI invoices to identify and remediate rate card application inconsistencies and errors
- Comparison and integrity check of agent reference benchmarks used for:
- interest rate setting (cash)
- safekeeping asset class pricing (securities)
- Comprehension of all agent bank / FMI billable data units and how they are applied to JPM account.
- Accountable for identifying and conceiving opportunities to reduce agent / FMI cost e.g. trade netting, early payment discount
- Cancel and amend root cause investigation and remediation with firmwide Operations groups
- Work with ExCapp billing and invoice reconciliation team to drive optimal data construct and management
Qualifications/Competencies:
- An understanding of agent bank invoice attributes and structures
- Operational or finance background preferred
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with data visualisation / analytics tools - Tableau, Xceptor, Alteryx
- Ability to forge strong working relationships with operations partners across firmwide Stakeholders
- Motivated self-starter, with the ability to pick up and learn new skills and knowledge quickly
- Attention to detail combined with an ability for decision making
- Effective time management including goal setting, planning, prioritizing, scheduling, and monitoring
