Key job responsibilities

As a Business Analyst you will be analysing and driving improvements in ATS Surface Transportation as we grow our Network and launch new nodes. You will do so by developing queries, scripts, tools & models to analyse the impact of future changes and lane level performance post changes. You will look for inefficiencies/underperformance and compile data to support business decisions. Your work will directly support year-over-year savings and performance improvement. You will partner with Senior Managers, ATS Business Stakeholders, Business Intelligence and Tech Teams to address opportunities and develop tools which allow stakeholders monitor performance and measure success.

You will work with business intelligence tools, manipulate big data from multiple sources and partner with the business to identify strategic opportunities and delivers results. You will demonstrate an internal drive to answer "why?" questions and derive analytical approaches to solve business problems. You will be comfortable with ambiguity, and demonstrate an ability to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business/Analysis/Data Analysis or related technical field.
  • Fluent in SQL.
  • Experience with Python scripting (Pandas, Numpy, Boto3), R, Django or similar programming languages.
  • Experience of working with data warehouses.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Experience of working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight.
  • Professional experience in business/data/statistical analysis.
  • Professional experience making recommendations and decisions based on complex analyses and data.
  • Strong inter-personal and relationship-building skills.
