We are looking for a business Audit Manager to plan and execute audits according to a risk-based approach, identifying internal control improvements that may include operational enhancements or efficiencies. You will facilitate effective communication and coordination with business management at all levels and must have excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills. This role is based in our Internal Audit team in Dublin, Ireland.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As an Audit Manager in the Institutional Services and Global Delivery area, you will:

  • Plan and manage teams of audit professionals and contracted resources in executing all phases and key milestones of an assigned audit/review.
  • Work in partnership with business area management to communicate expectations and manage any project issues that may arise throughout the audit.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of audits and assigned functions, including utilization of technology, products, organizational activities, and systems.
  • Provide ongoing counsel, training, development and motivation to staff.
  • Ensure self and team anticipates, monitors, actively manages and reports all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities.

  • A range of personal attributes, including being collaborative, determined, energetic, inquisitive, intelligent and articulate.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in order to effectively communicate with senior leaders within business divisions

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Internal Audit and relevant experience in financial services industry (5+ years) as a minimum.
  • Degree-level education and a relevant professional qualification with post-qualified experience preferred but not essential.
  • An understanding of key regulations impacting such company as State Street.
  • Experience of auditing areas including Fund Accounting, Fund Administration and/or Depository functions.
