About the Role

The strategic Leader to manage the country operations and effectively run the service lines, manage P&L along with focus on Business development and growth to expand the company footprint in Indonesia. Most importantly a peoples Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a high performing management team focused on ensuring that all employees perform at optimum levels to grow the business and nurture new and existing client relationships
  • Promote high standards of business and personal behavior, ensuring implementation of and adherence to Group policies and working closely with others to ensure all legal requirements are respected
  • Maintain and develop the organization's culture, values and protect/enhance its reputation with staff, clients, business partners and regulatory/official bodies
  • Develop and implement a rigorous approach to compliance and quality in line with Group and regulatory requirements
  • Recruit (where applicable), develop and engage managers, ensuring the Group is first-choice employer for the best talent in the business
  • Plan, organize and direct the organization's activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial performance
  • Identify, develop and direct the implementation of business strategy
  • Identify and optimize opportunities for business growth and development to ensure continued success and expansion of the business
  • Develop effective relationships and work closely with other Managing Directors to maximize opportunities for cross referrals and global business development.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
  • Build and implement project plans with Service Lines team to review pricing and fee schedules to ensure TMF Group remains appropriately and competitively priced in line with Group guidelines and parameters.
  • Provide on-going support to the Service Lines in developing and implementing plans that support department driven change and improvements for overall business improvement initiatives.
  • Continually identify and act, in collaboration with the Service Lines on new ways to improve efficiency of client administration work in order to increase profitability of TMF business and ensure Clients Service Level Agreements are being met and maintained.
  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
  • Report to the Head of APAC on organizational plans and performance.

Key requirements

  • Qualified Charted Accountant with approx. 18+ years of experience in a commercial environment, preferably in professional services/finance/consulting business
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of a second language is a plus
  • Extensive proven experience within the market, with personal market credibility, a solid network, and an interest in TMF services;
  • Experience in leading, managing and developing teams to achieve and surpass given targets
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Able to “solution sell” where the ability to listen to the clients and understand what they really need is more meaningful than a hard sell
  • Able to manage coordination of complex multi-jurisdictional proposals involving multiple business lines;
  • Self-motivated and able to collaborate and to get results in a matrix environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
