As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.

 

Job purpose 

The Payroll Assistant is in charge of supporting our Belgian HR & Payroll team from our hub in Katowice to guarantee quality service across the client portfolio. He/She will also assist in the management of reports, internal programming, and compliance. For the right candidate, our team and company will provide effective training workshops so that you can understand the basics of Belgian payroll regulations and provide support to the team as per the required responsibilities.

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Support the Belgian team with making payroll calculations.
  • Assisting with the delivery of HR & Payroll projects to increase the effectiveness of our team, for example, standardizing procedures based on checklists.
  • Understand and manage our internal workflow tool (Horizon) in which we follow up on payroll deadlines and act as a team champion to respond to the operational teams’ technical questions and clients’ queries
  • Draft and follow up the documents to request approval of out-of-scope services by Clients (CRN process)
  • Assistance in the invoicing process and following up on the payments we need to make for our clients
  • Assist in the enactment of compliance measures according to the ISAE norms and actively participate in yearly audits
  • Contribute to the maintenance of our Clients’ specific requirements and contribute to their enactment together with the Belgian payroll team (ex: Clients’ specific KPIs, invoicing …)
  • Be part of improving the quality of the processes and daily work our HR & Payroll team needs to pay attention to

Key requirements:  

  • Basic Knowledge of English (at least C1 level)
  • Knowledge of French or Dutch (at least A2 level) is an asset
  • Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of payroll and/or accounting is required
  • Responsible and organized
  • Good communication skills -  Communicates information in a clear and concise manner
