Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a large manufacturing business based in Rotherham, supporting them with the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant to join their head office team.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for supporting with monthly management accounts and financial reporting for the group.
The successful candidate will be part qualified with experience in a similar role producing management accounts.

- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Preparation of quarterly VAT return
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Month end reporting
- Preparation of monthly prepayments and accruals
- Ad hoc support across the team
