We provide reporting solutions/requirements through finance, markets and operations reporting along with cyclical and critical controlling processes such as Forecasting, Financial Planning, Revenue Planning, Markets Leadership Planning and Cash Reporting to help you take better business decisions. The Opportunity:

As part of our EY-F&A Team, you will work with various operations teams to support team in effective and efficientmanagement of internal and external stakeholder requirements

We're looking for Manager - Corporate Accounts Reporting & SOX Compliance, to be a key member of our growing Finance team. This role would report to the AD - Finance and will work closely with the internal and external customers to achieve the compliance, business, and financial goals of the organization. This person should have very good working experience in ERPs, Excel, USGAAP, IND-AS.

Key responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience of IND-AS (and US GAAP) reporting and consolidation of Indian and US subsidiaries. Involves periodic closing and financial reporting for both standalone and consolidated in line with group policies.
  • The incumbent would be placed in the Corporate Accounting Reporting of the company and will be responsible for preparation of Financial Results, Financial Analysis, MIS and conduct of Statutory Audit.
  • Should be well conversant with preparation of financial statements (Balance sheet, Cash Flows, Analysis of financials Variance analysis etc.). Key Responsilities: - Trial Balance Review, Preparation of internal financial reports (MIS reports), Financial Analysis, Competitor Analysis, Variance Analysis, Liasoning with Auditors, Data Analytics using BI Tools, Related Party Transactions arm's length analysis
  • Design and administer internal controls over financial reporting. Review financial reporting, identify process deficiencies, and recommend improvements
  • Ensuring all monthly close activities are completed for all India and US entities as per requirement and formats as mandated by Management and relevant stakeholders
  • Evaluate business risk and control measures around Financial Reporting process and assess the effectiveness of the control mechanism
  • Review test findings within the Internal/External Audit Team, facilitate the remediation of control gaps, and escalate possible critical issues to the senior management. Serve as a liaison between management and external auditors. Stay abreast of changes in SOX/ICFR regulations to ensure timely compliance
  • Engage with cross functional teams to provide comprehensive analysis and comment on variances and trends in relation to monthly reporting and budgets/forecasts
  • Working closely with various stakeholders within the organisation and group to work on various ad hoc projects along with monthly routines.
  • Proactively being connected with the recent developments in INDAS/IFRS/US GAAP and undertaking impact assessment of any change in law, rules via notifications and circulars and disseminating the knowledge down to the Finance and Accounting team
  • Work closely with Group Tax Advisors, consultants as and when required for ensuring proper implementation of INDAS/USGAAP/IFRS and relevant accounting standards to the business and operations.
  • Work with Global SOX PMO and business process/ control owners for standardization of key controls and related testing process as part of implementation of Global Process Design
  • Coordination with Regional SOX coordinators on the Global SOX program, transition of controls and selective control testing, as required
  • Above mentioned are the specific requirements from the candidature, however depending on the circumstances generic challenging assignments will be given.
  • Along with the routines, ability to add value by new initiatives, learning and development


To qualify for the role, you must have (Skills and attributes for success):
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant/ Certified Public Accountant, preferably from Audit or consulting firms
  • Minimum 5-8 years of Post Qualification work experience in Internal Controls, Statutory Audit & Risk management, and Assurance Function
  • Team management, problem-solving, conflict management, and time management skills
  • Experience in SOX compliance/business controls testing, Risk Management, or related Audit & Assurance field.
  • Working and technical knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, IFRS, US GAAP (preferred), IFC Reporting, SEC reporting requirements, SOX requirements, etc. (must have)
  • Ability and willingness for hands on working for ERP (must have)
  • Exposure to Power BI, SQL or any other visualization tools-preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of Governance, Risk and Control, COSO, and Financial Reporting Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of regulatory requirements & standards of the SOX Act and the Indian Companies Act, working knowledge of PCAOB requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and Automated Control Environments
  • Strong MS office & Excel skills (must have)
  • A strong working knowledge of technical accounting and business matters
  • The candidate should be in touch with the latest developments on Taxation and Accounting matters in India and worldwide.
  • Conducting routine and extensive testing of controls to identify gaps and make changes where needed.
