Looking for Risk Management professional who understands Operational Risk. The candidate will be part of Insights & Governance Team within Business Risk Management Group. The position requires leading and collaborating with other team members to perform deep dives of material incidents, analysis and trends of incidents, identifying areas of risk, identifying control weaknesses and opportunities for process improvements initiatives (projects).

  • Experience with a large financial services firm or advisory/consulting firm
  • Broad-based experience focused in risk management, regulatory compliance, control programs and project management
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated ability to work with global cross-functional teams and act as a change agent
  • Self-motivated professional with the ability to work within deadlines and meet goals

What you will be responsible for:

  • Perform Business Risk Management role and responsibilities in line with the Incident Capture and Management System (ICAMS) Policy
  • Rationalize and enhance Incident Management activities to drive global process improvement, consistency, and efficiency
  • Challenge the status quo with focus on value add activities and improved process and solutions
  • Lead and perform independent reviews of all incidents, ensuring root cause is clear, appropriate correcting actions, and key data is accurately classified
  • Review/identify incident trends and themes across the organization. Document observations and liaise with First Line of Defense colleagues, business lines, and Second Line of Defense to document recommendations and actions
  • Create analytical reports and presentations as required, highlighting trends and identifying potential issues
  • Create and continuously improve Incident Management SOPs/user guides
  • Continuously develop self to promote a high performing and diverse workforce
  • Maintain the highest level of personal integrity in all dealings thereby mitigating reputational risk to the firm and its customers

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in Business majoring in Accounting, Finance, or other Financial-related programs would be preferred
  • A minimum of 9+ year’s experience.
  • Advanced MS Office and presentation skills
