Your field of responsibility

Join us as an Assistant Accountant in Group Finance. Your responsibilities include the preparation and critical review of financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS. You have a strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS (Statutory) accounting standards. You understand the entity financials and prepare analytical review for both - Group reporting and Standalone reporting. You understand and learn many of bank’s financial systems (reporting systems/ ledger, MI & Legal Entity structures, data feeds etc.). You automate processes where necessary and identify synergies that will enhance the monthly reporting process, streamline reporting and ensure consistent delivery of financials. You have attention to detail, able to track trends and spot anomalies. You have a “zero error” mind set.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for:

  • CA with 4 – 6 yrs of relevant financial accounting experience, preferably within the financial industry
  • Strong understanding on US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, knowledge of banking products such as derivatives, repo, etc. would be an added advantage
  • Outstanding working knowledge of Excel, knowledge of Essbase would be advantageous
  • Ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments
