The Finance team is responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm. The team prepares external financial reports for public filings and regulators. For internal reporting, along with Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA), summarizes, plans and forecasts the organization's financial position, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future revenues, expenses and earnings. Finance is comprised of Business Unit Controllers, Infrastructure Controllers, Accounting, Regulatory and Reporting groups, and Valuation Review.

  • We are looking to hire a Director to work closely with Head of Finance and COO in running business and support the growth in India.
  • The candidate for this role will be responsible for liaising with senior leadership both locally and globally to help manage the Finance Division in India. This will include ongoing business management, talent development, and hiring. This role will require lot of interaction with Finance management team in Mumbai, overseas counterparts and business unite across GIC.
  • More specifically the successful candidate will:
  • Work with the local management team while liaising extensively with international stakeholders on the day-to-day management of the Finance Division in India.
  • Develop and program manage India-wide onboarding and training initiatives for the Finance division
  • Conceptualize and deliver full suite of management level reporting for India as well as global stakeholders
  • Produce and deliver communication plans for India
Skills required
  • Strong academic background
  • Extensive process and project management on a global scale
  • Work Experience in Multi National Corporation
  • Cross Functional Team Management
  • Technical skills including advanced MS Excel

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or equivalent specialization.
  • Extensive experience in Financial Service
