The Role

Support county operations by ensuring funds availability to implement field activities while at the same time making sure the organization follows organizational & donor policies, as well as procedures and policies put in place.

This position is only open to Liberian Nationals candidates.

Location: Grand Bassa County

What You'll Do
  • Ensure the posting of all cash and bank transactions in Netsuite including attaching scan copies of key documents into Netsuite for each transaction.
  • Ensure that all activities advances are fully liquidated and ensuring non exceed 30 days un-liquidated and reconcile it monthly and having an updated schedule every end of the month.
  • Disbursement of salary advances after making sure no staff gets an advance if holding an overdue activity advance (older than 30days).
  • Reviewing incoming payment request and ensure that supporting documentation are correct and attached.
  • Update cash and bank ledger ensuring all transactions are inclusive, properly authorized, and coded.
  • Provide support to budget managers by analyzing budget to actual variances and actioning on corrective actions agreed.
  • Reconciliation of Bank, Petty cash, Activity advances and Payroll liability.
  • Payout Salaries: National staff, CHAs & CHSSs incentives and reconcile the salary payable account for the county monthly.
  • Responsible for capturing mobile payment transactions after receiving approved participants list and DSA payment list from budget owners
  • Update cash and bank ledger ensuring all transactions are inclusive, properly authorized, and coded.
  • Reconciliation of Bank, Petty cash, Activity advances and Payroll liability
  • Ensure funds are available for project implementation by monitoring cash bank balances

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, finance, or business-related field.
  • NGO Financial Management Training
  • 5 Years of relevant experience (NGO related) preferred

For Liberia, the range is $14,999 to $ 20,453 depending upon experience doing an equivalent role.
