Finance Manager (SEA -Pharma)

Our client is a MNC who has been strong in the Pharma industry and they're currently looking for talented individual to join their business.

Description

• Process and review Month-end closing and Financial Reporting for SEA countries
• Consolidate and review Monthly /Quarterly P&L Matrix, balance sheet & Inventory comments
• Independently handle monthly forecast working and submissions to support SEA, mainly for Malaysia, this includes full P&L, quarterly Balance sheet and inventory.
• Prepare monthly consolidated management reports, P&L by country, by Business unit
• Experience in managing leasing accounting, and strong revenue recognition understanding about accrual and prepayments using US Gaap
• Providing support to BU for their periodic reporting, reviews and analysis.
• Preparing presentation for updates on periodical business financial performance.
• Ensure and constantly improve the accounting structure and systems to enable appropriate financial reporting standard.
• Evaluate, update & ensure compliance with all Corporate Finance Polices and Processes in Malaysia.
• Overseeing two analyst in ensuring all daily accounting operations such as Processing of Expenses, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Intercompany transactions /Cross charges, Disbursements are completed timely and accurately.
• Lead as the project manager of Corporate-driven projects and initiatives to be rolled out
• Manage the Flash Forecasting, Quarterly Forecasting, and Strategic Planning submission processes.
• Assisting on Annual Operating Plan Process /Strat Plan, Variance Analysis.
• Handling Internal Audit/SOX/ Statutory Audit/ Income Tax /ACRA Filing related administration:
• Prepare audit & tax schedules for Annual Statutory audit, Income Tax filings.
• Liaise with statutory auditors, Internal Auditor, Corporate Tax Team and other Statutory bodies.
• Adhoc projects & tasks as assigned by Finance Director.

Profile

• Degree in Finance and Accounting
• Professional qualification will be added advantage (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and etc)
• Good working knowledge and experience in full spectrum finance
• Strong proficiency in JDE system is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (in particular Excel) is preferred.
• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous with attention to details and accuracy.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
