An exciting new opportunity has opened up for a Grant Analyst to join our team at World Vision Australia. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with flexibility to be located across Australia.

Reporting to the Field Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the financial management of grants and contracts from institutional and private donors. Proficient in project budgeting, accounting and reporting, with excellent stakeholder management skills, you will enable the robust financial management and performance of field projects.

Your role plays an integral part in the organisation, tackling global issues and supporting our mission to empower Australians to create meaningful change for the world’s most vulnerable.

 You will also be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the management of donor compliance and financial reporting
  • Partner with Field Offices and World Vision International (WVI) to support delivery of projects
  • Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve business outcomes

About you:

To perform well in this role, you will need effective communication, presentation and influence with stakeholders across teams both locally and in-field.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in financial analysis, business reporting, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting. Knowledge of internal/external audit work and compliance is important, as well as the capacity to continue to develop as the diversity and complexity of grants increases.

You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or other related discipline
  • Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (or equivalent) – preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance environment for charities would be a strength but is not required
  • Mid to Advanced Excel skills
