  • Degree in accounting or equivalent qualification
  • With a minimum 5 years working experience in Manufacturing company
  • Good computer knowledge and command of Microsoft Office applications & ERP (Preferably SAP)
  • Able to work independently, possess good analytical skill and attention to detail.
  • Able to work under time constrains and pressure and committed to meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, self- motivated , a team player with high degree of integrity.
  • Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including but not limited to preparation and review of monthly/yearly closing, Financial reports and analysis.
  • Monitor, Interpret and present financial results of operation each month including product cost and variances.
  • Preparation of budgeting, forecasting & cash flow projections to ensure effective cash flow management.
  • Responsible for the month end and year end closing of general ledger including preparation of journal entries.
  • Ensure accounting entries are recognized appropriately as according to MPERS/SFRS standard.
  • Review fixed assets listings, bank reconciliation and term loan schedule if any.
  • Review all vendor payment before submit to Management for approval.
  • Close monitoring and active review of collections.
  • Conduct inventory count and monitoring of inventory from time to time.
  • coordinate and liaise with auditor, tax agent, bankers and other government bodies to ensure compliance to statutory requirements.
  • Ensure company process and practice are in accordance to group policies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes ( i.e. Financial reporting controls and procedures but not limited to overall company internal control. etc.
  • Perform other ad- hoc function as and when required by the Management.
