You will:

Reporting to the Regulatory Capital Internal Reporting Team Lead in Budapest, the main responsibility is to:

  • Supervise US Banks daily Balance Sheet reporting production and weekly/quarterly deliverables related to US GAAP Assets
  • Collaborate with US Banks controllers in preparation of monthly Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) and Capital reporting and analysis
  • Ensure accuracy of product financials and capital allocation
  • Partner with the calculation and accounting teams to explain and validate variances in reported numbers, investigate and reconcile differences
  • Work closely and maintain excellent business relationship with key stakeholders and data providers to meet reporting deliverables
  • Challenge processes and procedures, enhance controls and support strategic development of firm systems on Balance Sheet, Capital and RWA reporting

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • Preferred 5+ years of finance experience in international banking environment (Balance Sheet reporting, regulatory reporting, financial and product control, liquidity, treasury) or in accounting operations
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Product knowledge across a wide range of Equity and Fixed Income products is desirable
  • Have the flexibility required to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines
  • Strong control mind-set and risk awareness with good guardianship skills
  • Intermediate MS Excel and PowerPoint user
  • Have the ability to work effectively within local and global teams
  • High level of guardianship — ensuring exceptions are identified, resolved and escalated on a timely basis

Team Profile:

The Regulatory Capital Internal Reporting controllers' team is responsible for preparing US GAAP Assets reporting for US Banks, Capital and Risk Weighted Assets related internal management reporting and other financial analysis for Morgan Stanley's Business Units in a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. The group liaises with Regulatory Reporting teams in US as well as with other Finance teams globally.
