We're looking for an experience Financial Senior Manager to lead a team of Finance Professionals within the central Consolidated Reporting Team. Reporting to the Head of Consolidated Reporting, you'll be working with the business units and Risk function you will help shape the financial direction of Santander and ensure that shareholder value is maximised.

The difference you'll make.

  • Improving the control function within FMI by greater internal challenge and review including actuals, forecasts and budgets.

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure accurate and informed material is presented for decision making.

  • Deputising in key forums for the Head of Consolidated Reporting.

  • Reviewing and challenging monthly results compared to Budgets and Forecasts.

  • Managing and developing high performing teams by consistently adhering to people management processes and deliver HR metrics in line with business area people plan.

What you'll bring.

  • Experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships with Senior Managers, within and outside Finance through personal credibility and delivery of results.

  • Ability to interpret and evaluate financial information and make authoritative recommendations.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Experience in working in a Banking Finance environment with specific exposure to Transfer Pricing and ALM strategies.

  • Business & Product Knowledge - strong commercial awareness and a detailed understanding of provisioning methodology and explanations of complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders.

  • ACCA/CIMA qualification.

This is a full time permanent position based in London offering flexible working 2day in the office and 3 days working from home
