What you will be responsible for:

As Vice President you will:

  • Plan and coordinate all related program governance activities
  • Successfully deliver on project and workstream initiatives in accordance with relevant policies and frameworks – through close collaboration with the workstream leads, program management team, and other stakeholders, globally and across the business where dependencies occur.
  • Develop, maintain and deliver against an integration plan
  • Support delivery of the Integration plan with a robust and reliable project framework, traceability and governance.
  • Independently manage program workstream(s) and deliverables through various stages of the integration lifecycle for workstreams (solution design, integration and testing, implementation, and operational readiness)
  • Effectively lead workstream meetings with clear agendas and detailed minutes.
  • Clearly communicate progress and provide regular status updates
  • Proactively work across workstreams to identify, communicate, escalate, and remediate project issues and risks to ensure successful delivery of program outcomes
  • Ad-hoc problem resolving
  • Work proactively to ensure communication of changes are made effectively and repeatedly to all stakeholder groups and program management.
    • Oversees the effective coordination of activities between multiple departments within State Street, including our global offshoring partners
    • Take ownership of client service issues through closure
    • Responsible for reviewing staff level work, as needed
    • Participates in the resolution of project issues
    • Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff
    • Perform other duties as needed
    • Basic understanding of Accounting, Custody, Fund Administration
    • Basic understanding of Sub-Custody and International Markets, Securities, Cash Transaction Processing protocols, knowledge of global market processing requirements
    • Knowledge of internal State Street back office applications such as GTM, IIP, SMAC, GSMAC, MYVIEW, IBS, Hogan
    • Have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools
    • Experience with conversion or transformation projects is preferable

Education & preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree - undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, with a strong academic background.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in related accounting or finance field preferred
