Hutcheon Mearns are partnering with a leading Private Equity backed oil and gas operator to attract an experienced finance professional into their Aberdeen based team. Our client is looking to recruit an ambitious and determined individual into the role of Senior Accountant. Our client offers a professional and collaborative culture within a modern office setting, on a hybrid basis.
Consideration will be given to driven individuals with a proven track record of achievement with one to three years post qualification experience. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, preferably from a practice background. Candidates must have a proactive attitude and display superior communication and interpersonal skills. Strong financial accounting skills are required.
Overview

Management of relationship with outsourced finance team - acting as key interface, reviewing work/deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality of information
Support all aspects of financial control, reporting and central accounting
Lead the production of internal management information, analysing results and producing board packs to enable decision making. This will include earnings and cash flow variance analysis
Support the external financial reporting process, acting as a key contact for the External Auditors and assisting with the preparation of Statutory Accounts including drafting of disclosure notes
Assist in the Company’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes and investment review
