HKMA Reporting Manager (Foreign Bank)

Robert Half Financial Services is hiring for regulatory manager role within a growing global provider of administration in Hong Kong.

The Role

The regulatory manager will be a member of the finance team, assisting in the Prepare and review regulatory reports, government survey and other ad hoc reports and testing. The regulatory manager will be expected to play an active role on day-to-day operations and projects in the following areas:

• Prepare HKMA regulatory reports with analytical review in compliance with the completion instructions by deadlines
• Manage ledger control tasks to ensure ledger accuracy, as well as coordinate risk and control set up and testing on financial and regulatory reporting for Asia region
• Review the Head Office financial reporting and reconcile with local reporting
• Prepare financial analysis for internal management meetings
• Maintain relevant reporting procedure policies and manuals
• Enhance workflow and data quality to enhance efficiency and accuracy of reporting
• Support Finance Asia Tax Team on tax related matters including, but not limited to:
• Various Hong Kong tax returns (e.g. Profits Tax return, Stamp Duty, CRS & FATCA returns)
• Transfer pricing data analytics
• Tax administration (e.g. tax residency forms & certificates)

Your Profile

• 5 years or above audit/accounting experience, with at least 2 years of financial/regulatory reporting experience in the banking industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Self-motivating and independent with an open mindset
• Willing to learn a broader skill set
