As part of this growth, we are pleased to announce a new position as part of our exceptional Finance Team at our head office in Royston
You will be an experienced and capable financial accountant, comfortable with interpreting and reporting monthly results, cost centres profit and loss calculations, owning and driving month end close and budgeting/forecasting.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a highly exciting and expanding multi-billion dollar company. Ideally suited to a Part-Qualified person, the position offers full training support for ACCA/ACA/CIMA and also enjoys a generous salary and benefits package.

What you will accomplish together with us
- Ensuring corporate policies are adhered to and financial controls and processes are in place
- Communicating best practice procedures of internal control, segregation of duties and risk management
- Working with the Finance Controlling teams to ensure month end deadlines are met
- Responsible for the Balance sheet reconciliations allowing timely review
- Ensuring regulatory reporting deadlines and disclosures are met for VAT/TAX/Intrastat and Statutory accounts
- Co-ordinating the annual external audit; continuously improving processes, controls, and analytics
- Liaising with corporate departments such as tax, accounting and treasury as and when required
- Improving processes, controls and analytics within Finance and the wider business
What will convince us
- Working towards Qualification |CIMA/ACCA|
- Experienced in different areas of finance
- Knowledgeable about current accounting rules
- Experience in working with senior level stakeholders across different functions
- Continuous improvement experience
- Capable of meeting deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical subjects to non-finance managers at all levels of the organisation
- Advanced level of IT literacy, particularly in ERP systems and Microsoft office
