Finance Business Partner

This hands on and autonomous role will suit an experienced Finance Business Partner or Commercial Manager who has previous and recent experience in the Oil and Gas sector.

My client is a globally recognised and ASX listed Oil and Gas producer based in Perth CBD.

Description

Reporting to the local Head of Finance, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following;

• Monthly management reporting
• Variance analysis
• Project accounting
• Complex financial modelling
• Partnering with varied and numerous other departments and key stakeholders
• Cost forecasting and projections
• Detailed analysis and commentary on budget v actual
• Ad hoc support to the wider finance function

Profile

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have previously worked in a similar role, ideally in the Oil and Gas sector. If you are available at short notice, this would be highly advantageous. It would be very useful if you have previously used SAP, and you must have advanced Excel skills. Communication skills are also key in this role, so you must be articulate and capable of communicating with 'non-finance' stakeholders regarding finance related matters.
