We are looking for a motivated and communicative accounting professional - Financial Controller, to become part of our enthusiastic Controlling and Finance Team, predominantly supporting the execution of the Offshore Blade production here in Hull.

You will be part of the Controlling & Finance team and work closely with the Commercial Head. You will also interact with the other internal departments within the Hull operation and also interact with your counterparts in the UK, Denmark, Spain, and Germany to obtain an in-depth understanding of the Production Controlling and reporting processes.

This is challenging and varied role of where each day will be different with new challenges and opportunities for you to achieve great heights.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing clear, accurate and insightful analysis and commentary on the financial aspects of the Production within the Hull Blade Factory
  • Production Controlling, including responsibility for revenue recognition and cost controlling, challenging costs were necessary and looking for cost saving opportunities
  • Preparing for Budgets and aligning with Operation Managers and Senior Leadership Team
  • Providing input to the Commercial head for the month end closing and other reporting periods
  • Undertaking detailed financial analysis, management reporting, cost controlling, budgeting
  • Forecasting preparation for all cost centers on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Analyzing of process times, labour efficiencies and Headcount utilization
  • The role also comes with managerial responsibilities of other C&F team members
  • Monitoring of Production Orders and analysis of Manufacturing Variances on a monthly basis


What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for...

  • Part or Fully qualified accountant - Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) / Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  • Past experience of working in a similar role is preferred
  • Good understanding and practical experience of accounting principles including currency management, month end processes, budgeting and forecasting is essential
  • Knowledge of IT (Excel or SAP) would be an added advantage
