The role will be a hands on and broad role, and will be responsible for production of management accounts, management reports, improving reporting systems, payroll and VAT returns. Also supporting and training of more junior team members.

My client are a small business within the property sector who are on the upwards trajectory & growing.

Description

  • Produce monthly management accounts for several companies within the group
  • To work with the financial controller to produce standardised management reports to meet business requirements and provide insightful analysis
  • Developing improved reporting systems: working to provide automated reports and financial models to identify growth opportunities
  • Monthly payroll for all employees
  • VAT returns
  • Liaise with external accountants on year end reporting
  • Involved with compliance for AML and GDPR

Profile

  • Qualified or QBE accountant
  • Strong management accounts experience
  • Someone who is looking to join a broad & hands on role
  • Experience with Sage

Job Offer

Benefits on offer to the successful candidate are a salary of up to £45,000 (some potential stretch), and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. This role also offers some flexible working, with around 1 day per week from home.
