The Financial Controller will lead the Management Accounting team to provide accurate and timely management accounting information and reports to senior management and will partner with other teams, providing accurate management accounts and other reports to support the decision-making process.

My exclusive client is a long established ad very successful business within their sector. They are now looking to continue to grow after a successful recent history by further developing their Management Accounting and MI capability.
Description
As Financial Controller you will oversee the management accounting and MI Process.
You will lead the Management Accounting team as well as the Purchase Ledger, and your duties will include
- Oversight of the Management Accounts for the company and its international subsidiaries
- Leading the production and reconciliation of all accruals and prepayments
- Reconciling the balance sheet accounts prior to sign off
- Weekly and monthly reporting to asset-based lenders, liaising with auditors
- Supporting the Group Reporting process, including KPI reports
- Involvement in the annual budgeting process
- Overseeing VA reporting, national statistics reporting etc
- Monitoring stock and stock accounting across the group
- Supporting the annual statutory audit
- Involvement in ad hoc projects
Profile
This role is 4-5 days per week on site, so the ideal candidate must be willing to commute and spend the majority of time on site.
You will ideally be fully qualified - ACA, ACCA, CIMA - and MUST have experience of:
- Management accounts production
- financial reporting and analysis
- budgeting, forecasting, costing and modelling
- financial and business systems
- staff management and development
You will be an excellent communicator with a positive style, and an analytical and proactive approach
