What you'll be doing:
The Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for the day-to-day management of the business relationship between the NBMLHD Finance function and its customer base.

The Senior Finance Business Partner will create a real and active partnership with both operations and management and provide timely support and analysis, be the trusted advisor, and add value that will assist decision making.

This position will provide high-quality financial information and business support to the NBMLHD Finance, General Managers, Divisional Managers and the management teams to support efficient and effective management of resources and budgets, assist the facilities to meet their financial targets, obligations and KPIs.

The position will be required to coach, mentor and support managers and be motivated to assist in the achievement of NBMLHD's strategic objectives.

Selection criteria to be addressed:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications with a full and current membership to a relevant professional accounting body, coupled with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Demonstrated ability and high-level data skills to analyse and interpret information to provide business advice and reporting and to make strategic decisions improving organisational performance.
  • Demonstrated experience in the analysis of financial information, reporting variances to budget and developing full year projections.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders, and an ability to inspire a direction and purpose.
  • Well-developed issues management skills with the ability to apply sound judgement and work within tight deadlines in order to respond to sensitive and complex matters.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to manage, coach, mentor and support business management staff and other team members to achieve organisational goals.
  • Advanced software skills including Oracle financials or similar, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new systems as required in a self-sufficient manner.
  • Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
