JOB PURPOSE
Manages all matters of the HRP department and ensures excellent quality of services performed to client companies, revenue grows according to targets, financial targets are met, and strong client relationships are maintained.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set goals, objectives and strategies for the department and its business development
- Review Key Performance Indexes for the department and set action points for teams to follow up
- Work with management team to ensure efficient and effective cooperation across different divisions
- Supervise and coach Managers & staff
- Lead projects which require highly skilled resources, e.g. regional payroll process improvement
- Analyze client demands, translate into solutions, and maintain relationships with clients & management (i.e. decision makers)
- Ensure payroll process & services quality are delivered in high quality & timely manner
- Coordinate with other Payroll teams in APAC region, review local countries deliverables and liaise with all stakeholders to resolve issues
- Develop new business opportunities in line with company objectives. Attend conference and seminars for development.
- Analyze market opportunities and develop market share statistics for business development
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling of TMF services
- Prepare proposals for new/existing clients
- Monitor and control the billing, debt recovery and credit control actions in the department
- Provide authorized signatory for payment instruction, and ad hoc assistance for Finance Division
- Work with HR on recruitment activities, performance review and employee relations matters.
JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Degree holder in HRM or related disciplines;
- Approx. 15 years of relevant experience in Indian Payroll regulations, related compliances and Shops & Establishment compliances preferably in an outsourcing environment or has managed large employees’ payroll in a multi-national company
- A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role or with management responsibility
- Well versed with in individual/Employee taxation as per Income Tax Act of India
- Well versed in local country Employment Ordinances and related legislations in local country
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
