The opportunity
We are seeking high caliber, qualified candidates to join our Audit team in Barbados as Audit Seniors. As an Audit Senior you will be responsible for participating in and supervising multiple audit engagements as fieldwork leader of engagement teams. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience to help our clients meet their reporting requirements by providing exceptional client service and top quality assurance services. We will support you by proving state-of-the art technology, coaching and guidance to help you achieve your goals.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess client satisfaction.
- Direct field work daily, inform supervisors of the engagement status, and manage staff performance.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
- Develop people through effectively delegating tasks and providing guidance to staff.
To qualify for the role you must have
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or any other business related subject and at least final level of accounting designation i.e. ACCA, CA, CGA, CPA etc.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience working as an auditor for a public accounting firm, or particular business/industry experience to meet special needs.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
